Pressure pipelines, pressure shafts and collector ducts tend to rust. Therefore, the pipelines, welding seams and fundamental components must be inspected regularly. Professionally completed corrosion protection increases the service life of such pipelines massively. In order to be able to carry out such special work, Kummler+Matter EVT offers a mobile transport system with winch operation. Due to the vertical and inclined shafts, the construction and work in these areas is risky. The cable winches of Kummler+Matter EVT comply with the complex laws, regulations and guidelines of the controlling body IKSS (Intercantonal Concordat for Cablecars and Ski Lifts). Kummler+Matter EVT offers a complete package: planning, installation, rental, logistics. This means the workers can carry out their work on the pressure pipelines without any worries.

Planning
Kummler+Matter EVT plans the use of winches for lifting people, obtains clarifications regarding access and hands over the winches ready for operation. Coordination of the safety concept (transport, ventilation and emergency concepts) is also handled by Kummler+Matter EVT.
Engineering
Kummler+Matter EVT calculates the cable routes, and the statics for the cable pulleys and fastening devices. Kummler+Matter EVT also coordinates the production of all components, as well as the technical validation and risk assessment.
Execution
The assembly of all fastening devices and cable pulleys is carried out, the cable winch, the control cabinet and the transport truck are provided.
Commissioning
Kummler+Matter EVT assists customers in putting the personnel lifting winches into operation. The system is adjusted, tested and fine-tuned. Permits are obtained, operating personnel are trained and the emergency generator and rescue equipment provided.
Upkeep
Logistical as well as operational activities are the responsibility of Kummler+Matter EVT. This includes maintenance in accordance with regulations and standards, daily visual checks of the lines, inspection and maintenance plans and documentation.
