What you definitely need to consider if you want to upgrade to LED:
- What are the requirements regarding the illumination intensity and switching levels?
- Do the masts and foundations require structural testing?

For every lamp replaced by September 2022, you will receive subsidies ranging from CHF 70 to CHF 350. To receive this money, specifications must be met before and after construction. Testing and planning
Kummler+Matter EVT takes over the preliminary mast inspection and overall planning, and contributes its expertise and advisory skills when it comes to selecting suitable lighting, organising lighting and structural calculations, and preparing the electrical plans.
Engineering
Based on the lighting requirements and the location, calculations are carried out for the mast locations, equipment, light type and also the cable routing.
Execution
We calculate mast requirements and install them, and we carry out the required civil engineering work, pull through the cables and prepare all the electrical connections.
Commissioning
After completion, light measurements are carried out on the systems and logged. This enables us to verify whether the area is illuminated consistently according to the respective guidelines. Based on the type of sport, we create the required measurement logs individually. The Swiss Football Association (SFV), for example, requires periodic lighting measurements for football pitches.
Upkeep
Regular lighting maintenance, including cleaning of floodlights, replacement of bulbs, checking of lighting values, street lights and electric cables is recommended in every case.
